In October, Santa's Christmas Tree Forest has lots of pumpkins and lots of Halloween fun!
A Lot of Pumpkins will open at Santa's Forest for the third season in 2011. We will be open every Saturday and Sunday from October 8 through October 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hundreds of freshly harvested pumpkins will be available to choose from.
At A Lot of Pumpkins, we display our pumpkins in a shaded lot to help preserve their freshness. We provide a pumpkin carving station where you can bring your own tools to carve your Jack-o-Lantern, so you can leave the mess with us. Our regular concessions are open with a wide variety of foods - some that are ready to eat, and some that you can cook on the campfire, and of course we have the always popular Kettle Korn. (No outside food please.) Santa's Workshop is stocked with cute and scary Halloween decorations and toys.
All of our regular fun-filled activities are open. The Magical Maze has thirteen scary monster pictures hidden throughout...if you can find them all, you win a prize! Horse rides, hay rides, the bounce pillow and kiddie tram rides are running continuously for one ticket each. Tickets are $2. Dare to fly through the sky on our 400 feet long zip line for just three tickets. Our Junior Zip Line is 200 feet long for one ride ticket. Jack's Barnyard Animals are ready to welcome you to the farm, and when you are finished with all of that, take a jump in the Black Cat Haystack! There is never an entry fee at A Lot of Pumpkins/Santa's Christmas Tree Forest, and parking is plentiful and free.
