Private Parties: You may rent the facility for your party after 7 P.M. We provide the bonfire, roasting sticks and pavilion with picnic tables. There is a $30 deposit required. The cost is $30 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Hay rides may be rented for $10 per ride. (The average hayride will hold 35 adults.) The petting zoo is available free of charge. Horse, pony, and miniature horse cart rides may be rented for $1 per ride. All of the normal concessions are sold during private parties. You can call me at (352) 357-9863 or e-mail me to set up reservations. Family Adventure: Santa has a gift shop with crafty items, ornaments, stuffed animals, tree skirts, and many other things for mom. Dad can take the kids to the petting zoo (free) and then on a pony, horse, cart ride, and/or the maze (only $1 each). After that, the family can all get together and cook some hot dogs and s'mores ($1.00 per) on the bonfire. If you buy a tree, you receive a FREE hayride (if you don't buy a tree, the hayride is a dollar) out to the field to select and cut your tree. Saws and measuring sticks are provided. After you choose and cut your tree, the hayride will bring you back in where the tree is shook to remove all of the loose or dead needles. Your tree can then be baled into netting for easier transport home. The cost for baling is only $1. Santa also has northern-grown, precut trees if you would prefer one of those. They are set up in water holding containers and are displayed in the shade. After purchase, you can then take a FREE hayride around the farm. Wreaths are made fresh daily. We accept |

School field trips are given to over 1500 children every year. The tour includes a hayride to the field where a lecture is given on the types of trees and how they are grown in Florida. Some classes will then select and cut a Christmas tree for their class. Then the tree shaking and baling machine is demonstrated. The class can then visit the petting zoo, gift shop, maze and play on the hay stack. The tour takes an hour and the times available are 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30. Classes may bring their own lunch and eat around the bonfire or at the picnic tables in the pavilion. The cost is $1 per student. Teachers may obtain lesson plans for the field trip by visiting www.realtrees4kids.org. |

When you buy a tree, you get a
free hayride out to the forest to select, and cut your very own tree.
(If you don't wish to purchase a tree, the ride is $1). After your tree
is selected and cut, it's on to the shaker and bailer where all the dead
needles from inside the tree are shaken out. The cost of the shaking and
bailing is $1 and makes it much easier to transport your tree. |
