 During the Christmas season, Santa's Christmas Tree Forest provides a fun and effective way to travel into the tree field to select your perfect tree - a hayride! Our continuously running hayrides pick up and unload just beyond the tree shaking and bailing area beside the gift shop. The ride is free if you are purchasing either a Choose and Cut tree or a Northern fresh-cut tree. If you are not purchasing a tree on your visit or when coming for A Lot of Pumpkins , you may still enjoy the hayride with a ride ticket available from any of our cashiers.
If you will be choosing a Christmas tree from our field, raise your hand when you decide on a place to search. The driver will stop the hayride and provide you with a bow saw and measuring stick as you disembark. Take your time and "choose and cut" the tree that you would like to purchase. Then carry or drag the tree to a wide aisle and wait for the hayride to return. The conductor will tag your tree and place it in our tree caboose, providing you with the corresponding customer tag. You and your tree will be transported back to the shake and bale area.
Once back at the drop-off area, don't walk away! Wait for our tree processors to call your tag number and mark your tag with the price. After your tag is marked, please continue to enjoy your visit to the farm and pay for the tree at your leisure. Your tree will be waiting for you in our tree holding area when you are ready to take it home.
